If you’ve been struggling to drink enough water because of the colder weather, you’re not alone! I’ve been struggling and I know a lot of my clients have been struggling too.. so I thought I would put together a list of my top tips to help you drink enough water this winter (or summer)!

MY TOP 5 TIPS:

1. Rooibos tea with lemon & honey

Drink black rooibos tea, either plain or you could flavour it with a squeeze of lemon and honey (be cautious if the amount of honey as it can add up quickly).

2. Warm lemon & ginger water

If you are not a tea lover, you could drink warm lemon or ginger water. I like to keep a pot of water on the stove with sliced fresh ginger for flavour.

3. Room temperature water

I find it easier to drink room temperature water than it is to drink ice cold water.

4. Keep a bottle with you at all times

I always have a water bottle with me at all times. Whenever I look at it, I take it sip. Its easy to forget about your water and not feel thirsty, especially when its cold.

5. Start your day hydrated

I like to drink a big glass of water (or black cup of tea) before my coffee every morning. This way I know I am getting ahead of the game and starting my day hydrated.

These are just a few that I use to help me but I hope you find them helpful too!
