Struggling with Motivation?

As the end of the year is approaching, it can become easy to lose motivation. It's natural to reflect on the goals we have set for ourselves and the progress we've made so far. Whether it's about personal growth, career goals, or trying something new, staying motivated can be challenging! I have been struggling with motivation recently too so thought I would share 5 valuable tips that have helped boost my motivation:



1. Reflect on your journey


Take a moment to look back at how far you've come. Recognize the hurdles that you've overcome and the lessons you've learned. Reflecting on your journey can help reignite your motivation by reminding you of the progress you've already made.


2. Break it down


Make sure you break your goals down into into smaller, achievable steps. This can make your end goals seem less intimidating and can provide you with a sense of accomplishment along the way. Each achievement fuels your motivation to tackle the next goal.


3. Remind yourself of your "WHY"


Remember why you started this journey in the first place. Whether it's about personal growth, career growth, or even just trying something new, rekindling your connection with your initial motivations will give you renewed purpose.



4. Celebrate your progress:


Take a moment to acknowledge your accomplishments and celebrate them, no matter how big or small! Celebrating progress will help boost your motivation by highlighting the positive changes you've already made.


5. Practice self-compassion


Treat yourself with kindness. When facing challenges or setbacks, remind yourself that these things are normal and part of any journey! Instead of dwelling on your mistakes, use them to fuel motivation to reaching your goals.



Maintaining motivation is important if you want to achieve your goals. By reflecting on your journey, setting small achievable goals, remembering your WHY, celebrating your progress and being kind to yourself, you can find the inspiration you need to end the year on a high note! Remember, YOU are in control and YOU have the power to shape your path toward achieving your goals.
